This is my project for the advanced term at Think Tank's environment path, which took ~14 weeks (this includes the reference gathering, blockout, modeling, sculpting, and texturing). The scene is based on the street Rue Galande in Paris.
I really wanted to use this project as a way to tackle the technical aspects to gain better knowledge before heading into the mentorship term - stuff like shader work, lighting, and using Substance Designer to create tilable materials, which were crucial in the creation of the scene.
While I didn't manage to get to all the things I wanted to do, I'm satisfied with what I did manage to complete because I learned a lot on the way, and that wouldn't have been possible without the guidance of Jonathan Chan, Jason Guillion, and Stef Velzeboer.
